You’ll need a valid email address in order to book a tour with us, as all confirmations and trip details are sent by email.
Once you’ve chosen your trip, simply fill out the Booking Request Form. We’ll respond as soon as possible—usually the same day, though during busy periods it may take up to 24 hours. If you submit a request over the weekend, you can expect a reply on Monday.
If you don’t see a response, be sure to check your spam folder, as our emails occasionally get filtered.
If the trip you selected already has a Guaranteed Departure, you’ll receive an important email with your detailed tour information attached.
If you’re among the first 1–5 travelers to request a spot on a trip, we’ll hold a seat for you at no cost and with no obligation. You won’t need to make a payment right away. Once we reach the minimum number of travelers and the trip becomes guaranteed, you’ll receive the full information packet along with payment details.
If you decide the trip isn’t right for you after reviewing the details, no problem at all—just let us know. This helps us accurately gauge interest and plan each tour as smoothly as possible.
Cancellation charges reflect the real expenses Au Pair Adventures incurs when planning and operating our tours. These costs begin long before a trip departs and often cannot be recovered if a traveler cancels, even in cases of illness, injury, or personal emergency. Our cancellation fees are not intended to be punitive—they simply reflect the costs already incurred in preparing for your participation.
Please note that no refunds are issued for unused portions of a trip, including late arrivals, early departures, or failure to arrive for any reason.

The cancellation date is the date your email is received by Au Pair Adventures.
If you must cancel your trip, refunds are determined based on the number of days prior to departure:
91+ days prior: Refund of all payments minus $25
90–61 days prior: 50% of your deposit refunded
60–46 days prior: 25% of your deposit refunded
45 days or less: No refunds
Au Pair Adventures reserves the right to cancel or alter a trip due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather conditions, safety concerns, or low registration numbers. If we must cancel a trip, all payments received will be fully refunded, including any non-refundable portion of the deposit.
Please note that Au Pair Adventures is not responsible for additional expenses incurred in preparation for a trip, including airline tickets or other travel arrangements.
We strongly recommend purchasing Travel insurance to protect yourself in the event that you need to cancel or interrupt your trip due to medical reasons, trip delays, lost baggage, or other unforeseen emergencies.
Travel insurance can help cover costs that are otherwise non-refundable and provides peace of mind when plans change unexpectedly. Coverage can be purchased through your own insurance provider, or you may choose to purchase a policy online through Travelex Insurance (www.travelex-insurance.com).
To avoid disappointment or unnecessary expense if your plans change, we highly encourage all travelers to secure some form of travel insurance before their trip.

Your plane flight is not included.
Once you pick a trip, fill out the form and we will respond within 1 day or sooner If your trip is a Guaranteed Departure you will get a big information packet with all the tour and payment information via email.
If you are one of the first 5 people to sign up, we will save you a seat, and you don’t need to pay anything now. Once we have 6 people, we guarantee the trip and we’ll send your information packet. If you change your mind after receiving the packet, no problem...please let us know :-)
