The Western Sun Adventure is our most popular tour. This is a fast paced tour that packs in the very most, but still allows enough time for you to really enjoy your vacation. We have vans departing San Francisco or Los Angeles each week on Saturdays. If you want to see and do as much as you can in one week, visiting the most famous cities and National Parks in the West, this tour is for you! Our guides are experts at packing as much fun as possible into 1 week of pure APA Awesomeness. From as low as $889usd (your flights are not included, but all accommodation, and many of your meals are!)

*All necessary camping/adventure tour equipment (coolers, stove, food boxes, tents, sleeping pad, etc..) are included! You only need to bring a sleeping bag for the camping nights

*Most our travelers are Au Pair, so you can expect like minded travelers with a shared experience which creates the perfect adventure travel group dynamics. We connect you with the other travelers before the trip starts. Other young travelers are welcome to join also, being an au pair is not a requirement, just that you are between 18 and 29 yrs old

Our tour vans travel between San Francisco and Los Angeles allowing us to get the absolute most out of the week. This is why there is a North-bound tour one week, and a South-bound tour the next. A tour gets GUARANTEED when 8 people sign up. Each van can have a maximum of 14 travelers. It is free and there is no obligation to book a seat on any trip. When you fill out the booking request form, we will send you all the details before you need to make your decision to join the trip. It is important that you get to see all the detailed tour information to make sure the trip is right for you before making any commitment to travel with us 🙂

When you request any tour, you will lock in the rate posted today with no obligation. You get to see all the detailed trip information before making a final decision. We want to reward early bookings, so prices may increase as the date gets closer to departure, but you will keep the price you see today!
*please note we update our website availability manually and often times it can be slightly behind because we hold seats for free with no obligation (1-2 days) while travelers review the detailed trip information, check on flights, etc..and decide if they want to join the trip. Availability showing online does not guarantee the trip still has space, you must fill out a booking request and get a confirmation from our office to confirm space.

We have waiting lists for our trips in case someone cancels…if you can only travel on a “sold out” departure, email us and we will put you on the wait list.

Once you pick a trip, fill out the form and we will respond within 1 day or sooner If your trip is a Guaranteed Departure you will get a big information packet with all the tour and payment information via email.
If you are one of the first 5 people to sign up, we will save you a seat, and you don’t need to pay anything now. Once we have 6 people, we guarantee the trip and we’ll send your information packet. If you change your mind after receiving the packet, no problem...please let us know :-)
