The Yellowstone Explorer is a one-week adventure through some of the most iconic and wild landscapes in the American West. Starting and ending in Salt Lake City, this trip is all about big scenery, active days, and unforgettable natural wonders.
We’ll spend multiple days exploring Yellowstone National Park, home to dramatic waterfalls, colorful geothermal features, and world-famous sights like Grand Prismatic Spring and the awe-inspiring eruptions of Old Faithful. Every day brings something new—from bubbling geysers to sweeping valleys and wildlife-filled landscapes.
Beyond Yellowstone, we venture south to the jagged peaks and pristine lakes of Grand Teton National Park, with time to explore the charming mountain town of Jackson, Wyoming. The journey also includes time in Salt Lake City, adding a cultural and urban contrast to the week.
This is an active adventure, with plenty of opportunities to walk and hike each day, making it perfect for travelers who want to fully experience these parks rather than just see them from the road. This week is all about fully experiencing the wild heart of the American West. We spend multiple days exploring Yellowstone National Park, home to iconic sights like Yellowstone Falls, the Upper Geyser Basin, and the powerful eruptions of Old Faithful. Along the way, we’ll visit Mammoth Hot Springs, Firehole Canyon, the vibrant colors of Grand Prismatic Spring, Mud Volcano, Yellowstone Canyon, Hayden Valley, Mount Washburn, Yellowstone Lake, and Norris Geyser Basin—each offering a completely different view of the park’s incredible geothermal landscape.
Beyond Yellowstone, the adventure continues south into Grand Teton National Park, where jagged peaks, alpine lakes, and classic mountain scenery take center stage. We’ll also spend time in the charming town of Jackson, relax in the warm waters of Lava Hot Springs, and experience the culture and energy of Salt Lake City.
