APA Tours are operated by AA Tours LLC. These tours are an extraordinary way of traveling, and are designed for enthusiastic people, from all over the world – who love the outdoors, love Adventure and love to travel.

The Tour Guide will help you as much as they can; they are responsible for making you feel at home on your tour. You may remember this and acknowledge them at the end of your trip with a tip (we suggest you tip $20 per week to your guide). Remember we have done everything to keep the cost of your tour as affordable as possible, and your trip is hundreds of dollars less than the other adventure travel companies in the USA so acknowledging your tour guide’s hard work at the end of the trip is important.

Enjoy your adventure and take advantage of all opportunities offered to you. You may be on tour, but do not lose your self-reliance. Everyone has opportunities for time away from the group. When we go to cities or parks, get out and explore. Make the most out of your tour, you play an important role in the success of your holiday!

Language (Trek and Country) 

Our official tour language is English and we encourage you to use your English skills as often as possible. It is an important part of the tour that everyone speaks a common language as much as possible to maximize the group travel experience. It will also be necessary to speak English to effectively communicate with your tour guide.

Flexible Itineraries

We’ve allowed plenty of room for freedom and flexibility in our trips. In fact, flexibility is one of the ingredients that makes each of our trips so exciting. We do everything possible to avoid the kind of surprises that you might encounter, if you traveled on your own. Sometimes however, Adventure travel offers us some unexpected circumstances at times. For example; bad weather and road conditions, technical defects of transportation, inconveniences caused by local operators and authorities, and other unknown circumstances beyond our control. Changes in the program may be required to make the best of the unique situations that we encounter. Sometimes it can be a small change like adding/removing a meal along the itinerary. Sometimes the change may result in us altering the tour for the coming year. Ultimately, our goal is to provide you with the most rewarding experience and if a change has been made, it is always with the intention of making the trip better. Your spirit of adventure and flexibility will help make your adventure trip an exciting and unforgettable experience!

Itinerary Disclaimer

While it is our intention to adhere to the planned itinerary, there is a certain amount of flexibility built into the itinerary and on occasion it may be necessary, or desirable to make alterations. The itinerary description is relatively brief, as we never know exactly where each unique trip will spend all of their time each day. Due to our style of travel and the regions we visit, travel can be unpredictable. The Trip Details document is a general guide to the tour and region and any mention of specific destinations or wildlife is by no means a guarantee that they will be visited or encountered.

Teamwork 

Our tour guides will do everything possible to make your holiday the best you have ever had, but total success will depend on your own enthusiasm and cooperation. Each Au Pair Adventure Tour is unique. Much of your enjoyment will come from the team spirit in your group and the fun you will have together, as well as from the local settings. We cannot stress strongly enough the importance of your own positive thinking and attitude. Have the right approach and you will be assured a great time. Participants who severely disrupt the group will be excluded from the tour.

Cancellation policies:

Cancellation charges reflect the many expenses Au Pair Adventure Tours cannot recover if you cancel, even if you must do so due to illness, injury, or personal emergencies. These fees are not meant to be punitive in any way. The charges made reflect the expenses Au Pair Adventure Tours has incurred in administering your reservation and planning for your participation. We recognize that the majority of those who cancel their reservations do so out of necessity. Please note that we do not make any refunds for any unused portion of your trip, not arriving, arriving late, or leaving the trip early.

To qualify for any refunds, we must receive notification in writing, email: info@http://aupairadventures.com
Cancellation date is the date the notice is received by Au Pair Adventure Tours in writing, by email
In the unfortunate event that you must cancel your trip, your refund will be determined according to the following formula:

Days prior to departure Refund
  • 91+ days All but $25
  • 90 – 61 days 50% of your deposit
  • 60 – 46 days 25% of your deposit
  • 45 days or less No refunds

Au Pair Adventure Tours reserves the right to cancel or alter a trip due to unforeseen weather, unsafe conditions, low registrations or other circumstances. If Au Pair Adventure Tours must cancel a trip, all payments received to date will be refunded, including the non-refundable portion of your deposit. Au Pair Adventure Tours is not responsible for expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled trips, including airplane tickets.

Cancellation Insurance:

WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND TRIP CANCELLATION/TRIP INTERRUPTION INSURANCE, WHICH COVERS YOUR COST IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL OR INTERRUPT YOUR TRIP for medical reasons, trip delay, lost baggage, and other unforeseen emergencies. You may purchase coverage through your own insurance company or You can also sign up for it online at Travelex Insurance (www.travelex-insurance.com). In order to avoid disappointment and expense in the event that you must cancel your trip we strongly urge you to purchase some type of insurance coverage.

Once you pick a trip, fill out the form and we will respond within 1 day or sooner If your trip is a Guaranteed Departure you will get a big information packet with all the tour and payment information via email.

If you are one of the first 5 people to sign up, we will save you a seat, and you don’t need to pay anything now. Once we have 6 people, we guarantee the trip and we’ll send your information packet. If you change your mind after receiving the packet, no problem...please let us know :-)
